Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 DOE
Full-Time: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team.
This role is essential in supporting our operations department and ensuring excellent service as the first point of contact for our customers.
You will work closely with internal departments and external partners, playing a key role in maintaining and improving our day-to-day operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the first point of contact for customer service – Answering phones, resolving queries, responding to customers and suppliers as well as perform general administrative duties to support the eCommerce and healthcare operations.
- Manage e-commerce order admin – Liaise with couriers to arrange dispatch and track deliveries. Respond to queries on orders, returns, and stock. Maintain and update product listings, pricing, and descriptions on the WMS.
- Co-ordinate healthcare kitting administration – Track and manage healthcare kit preparation per client guidelines. Document each batch accurately.
- Support stock movement and inventory – Monitor and record stock transfers across departments and locations. Assist with stock counts and reconciliation. Update internal systems with accurate product data. Flag low stock and raise alerts or purchase requests
- Handle goods-in and receiving – Check and log incoming deliveries. Inspect goods for accuracy and quality. Record information into stock management systems.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications & Experience – Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other admin tools. Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Preferred – Full UK driving licence. Business or administration qualifications. Experience in e-commerce, warehousing, or healthcare product handling. Familiarity with inventory and stock control systems.
- Personal Attributes – Proactive and highly organised self-starter. Confident and collaborative team player. Calm and adaptable under pressure. Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills. Professional telephone manner.
