Founder & Managing Director
I came up with the name The Finishing Line when I was 17 and turned it into a business seven years later. Since then, it’s been an incredible journey of growth, change, and constant innovation. As Managing Director, I focus on setting our direction, working closely with my team, and making sure we keep our values at the heart of everything we do. I’m very hands-on and probably a bit of a perfectionist, but I strongly believe that great teams are built on different strengths and perspectives. What keeps me motivated is that it still feels like day one, and there’s always more to build. My focus now is on developing future leaders and making sure the business continues to grow in a sustainable, positive way.
Commercial Director
I joined The Finishing Line in 2020 and quickly got stuck into driving growth in new and emerging markets. Now as Commercial Director, I lead our sales, marketing, and product development strategy, making sure everything we do commercially aligns with how we deliver operationally. I’m passionate about building solutions that genuinely make a difference for our clients and can scale with them as they grow. I enjoy working closely across teams to turn ideas into something real and impactful. A big focus for me is innovation and helping position The Finishing Line as a leader in eCommerce fulfilment and 3PL, while continuing to strengthen long-term partnerships with our clients.
Financial Director
Although I officially joined The Finishing Line in 2024, it was a big part of my life growing up. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at a Top 10 accountancy firm, I came in to strengthen our finance function and support the next stage of growth. I now lead the company’s financial strategy, overseeing budgeting, reporting, forecasting and risk management, ensuring the business has the insight it needs to make informed decisions. I also enjoy working closely with clients to understand what drives their growth and how we can support it. My focus is to build a finance function that strengthens the business, supports our people, our clients, and drives progress across both operational and strategic goals.
Non-Executive Director
I’ve known The Finishing Line for over a decade, so joining as a Non-Executive Director felt like a natural step. With more than 40 years in logistics and supply chain, I bring an external perspective to help guide strategy and long-term thinking. I’ve seen the business evolve through key milestones, from expansion to entering new markets. My role is to support and challenge the leadership team, helping them look beyond the day-to-day and stay focused on the bigger picture. I enjoy making connections, and using my experience to support growth. It’s an exciting time for the business, and I’m keen to help ensure it stays agile and future ready.
Technology Director
I joined The Finishing Line in 2024 in a non-executive capacity and soon stepped into a more hands-on CTO role. With over 35 years in technology and leadership roles, I enjoy helping businesses grow by building practical, scalable solutions. At The Finishing Line, I focus on developing systems that support ambitious growth while remaining simple, reliable, and easy to use. I work closely with different teams to make sure our technology genuinely supports the people using it every day. It’s a great environment to be part of, and I’m particularly motivated by shaping solutions that not only meet current needs but are ready for the future.
Finance Manager
I recently joined The Finishing Line as Finance Manager and have really enjoyed getting to know both the business and the people behind it. I’ve spent over 15 years in finance, including more than a decade as a Group Finance Manager, so I bring a range of experience alongside a hands-on approach. I take pride in getting the detail right while always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiency. For me, it’s about balancing accuracy with practicality. I’m excited to support the business as it continues to grow and to help ensure strong, scalable financial processes are in place to support that journey.
Head of Development
I started at The Finishing Line by improving a small process around outbound pallet labels and have kept building from there ever since. Over time, I’ve worked on everything from automated billing systems to internal tools that make day-to-day work smoother for the team. Now, as lead developer for Tenevo, I focus on creating solutions that support our move into eCommerce and automation. With over 25 years in web development, I naturally look for ways to streamline processes while keeping flexibility where it’s needed. I enjoy solving problems and building systems people genuinely rely on, helping the business run more efficiently at scale.
People & Culture Manager
I joined The Finishing Line in 2025 and immediately felt part of the team. My role is all about people, making sure everyone feels supported, valued, and aligned with where the business is heading. I’ve worked in HR for over 20 years across different sectors and spent a decade consulting, so I bring a broad and practical perspective. I believe when people feel engaged and motivated, everything else follows. My focus is on creating simple, effective processes that reduce unnecessary admin, support development, and build a strong sense of shared purpose across the business.
eCommerce Fulfilment Manager
I joined The Finishing Line at 17 while still at college and have grown with the business ever since. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across multiple areas, which has given me a solid understanding of how everything fits together. Now as eCommerce Fulfilment Manager, I lead a team focused on delivering a consistent and high-quality service. I’m passionate about keeping things running smoothly while creating a positive environment for the people I work with. Supporting growth and improving processes is a big part of my role. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends or switching off with a bit of fishing.
Warehouse Manager
I joined The Finishing Line in 2016 after moving down from Chesterfield, starting out as a forklift driver. For the first year I travelled back every other weekend to see my family, but I enjoyed working here so much that in 2017 we made the move together. Over time, I took on more responsibility, and in 2023, I was offered the Warehouse Manager role. My day-to-day is always changing, which is something I really enjoy, as it brings plenty of on the spot planning and problem solving. I’m proud to work with such a family friendly group of people, and I always aim to bring 100% commitment to every project. Since stepping into management, I’ve focused on working closely with my team to make operations run more smoothly and efficiently. Outside of work, I enjoy DJing and spending time with my family.
eCommerce Account Manager
I’m often the first point of contact for my clients, so I focus on being approachable, proactive, and easy to work with. I enjoy building strong relationships and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Great service, for me, comes down to clear communication and being honest and reliable. One of my favourite parts of the role is sharing the friendly, family feel we have at The Finishing Line and helping clients feel part of that. I always aim to give my best while staying transparent when priorities shift. Outside of work, I enjoy walking, board games, and exploring historical places with my family.
Medical Account Manager
I work closely with clients to make sure everything runs smoothly and their needs are always understood and delivered. A big part of my role is solving problems quickly and finding ways to improve the overall experience. I enjoy building long-term relationships and becoming someone clients can rely on. I started my career as an apprentice at 16, which gave me a strong foundation and work ethic early on. Since then, I’ve developed a real passion for client interaction and continuous improvement. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, which helps keep me motivated and open to new ideas.
eCommerce Account Manager
I’ve been with The Finishing Line since 2008, starting on the production floor before moving into eCommerce and then account management. That journey has given me a great understanding of both the business and our clients’ needs. I focus on making sure everything runs on time and that clients feel supported throughout the process. Building strong relationships is one of the things I value most in my role. I aim to be consistent, reliable, and someone clients can trust. Outside of work, I enjoy walking, photography, travelling, and spending time with my family, which helps me recharge.
eCommerce Account Manager
I spend a lot of my time speaking with clients, helping with queries and making sure they always feel supported. What I enjoy most is the strong relationships we build, even during busy periods, clients are incredibly understanding and positive. I like to bring a straightforward, honest approach to my work, as I think that helps build trust. I’ve always been drawn to leadership, both at work and through football, where I’m a vocal presence in my team. That mindset shapes how I approach my role every day. Outside of work, I enjoy football, travelling, and spending time with my family.
eCommerce Account Manager
I really enjoy helping clients solve problems and making their day-to-day work easier. For me, it’s about clear communication, being reliable, and making sure clients always feel supported. I started at The Finishing Line as a picker and packer, learning different areas of the operation before moving into account management. That hands-on experience has been invaluable and helps me better understand client needs. I take pride in building strong, positive relationships and being someone clients can depend on. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and exploring new places together.
Operations Assistant
I have been part of The Finishing Line team for nine years, starting on the bench carrying out the hand-finishing of magazines before progressing into an office-based role. Today, I work closely with many of our longstanding clients, helping to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. I enjoy the fast-paced nature of the business, where no two days are ever the same, and I value building strong, lasting relationships with our clients. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, spending time with friends, and going on walks with my French Bulldog.
Operations Assistant
I have been working for The Finishing Line since August 2025. I work closely with Burlington and Activity Superstore, providing reliable logistics services with a professional, friendly, and positive approach. I take pride in delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients. Outside of work, I am a dedicated Karate Instructor, where I promote discipline, confidence, and personal development. The values I teach in karate are commitment, respect, and perseverance which are the same values I bring to work each day.
