Location: Unit 28, West Horndon Industrial Park, West Horndon, CM13 3XL
Salary: £20,000 – £22,000

What the job involves

The role of Operations Assistant will be based at our eCommerce fulfillment center situated in West Horndon Industrial Park and will be reporting to the eCommerce Team Leader.

The main function of this role is to assist in the handling and resolution of customer queries relating to online orders made through various eCommerce platforms owned by Finishing Line’s fulfilment clients.

This will be achieved by supporting and providing resolutions to the end-user, making well-informed decisions whilst working in a fast-paced, customer-focused team.

This position is offered on a full-time basis working between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Fri.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting domestic and international customers with their queries.
  • Providing a first-time resolution to customer queries.
  • Using internal tools to assist and take ownership of customer enquiries.
  • Looking to resolve customer complaints.
  • Liaising with internal departments.
  • Escalating queries and refund requests where necessary to direct report.
  • Handle customer’s objections in a professional manner to reinstall the customer’s faith in Finishing Line and avoid escalation to claims/ complaints.
  • Investigating issues thoroughly.

  • Competent computer, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Experience in working with MS Word & Excel.
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service Advisor role.
